Arembepe

Arembepe has beautiful beaches, but what really draws the attention of tourists is the hippie village present there. The place full of peace and love gives visitors a form of simple and alternative lifestyle in the almost untouched nature. The inhabitants still live in mud houses without electricity and the little money made from the sales of their handicrafts and cassava. Arembepe has received some notable visitors like Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Janis Joplin in the 60’s and 70’s. The look is still composed of coconut trees, reefs, natural pools and crystal clear lagoons. In addition to these attractions, the site has a headquarters from the Tamar Project, with helps with the protection of sea turtles. Worth a visit and fall in love with this paradise.
