Rafting on the Contas river in Taboquinhas

Towards Itacaré, we got 26 km of dirt road to reach the village of Taboquinhas. In this rafting experience you will go for approximately 2 hours down the contas river, which rises in the Chapada Diamantina 570 km away from Taboquinhas. A sequence from level 2 to 5 rapids is perfect for this sport. Rafting is the most famous adventure tour practiced Taboquinhas, and also a professional sport, in which Brazil is a bi-world champion. The river descent, passing through rapids and drops from up to 3 meters, occurs in inflatable boats with a capacity from 6 to 8 people, including a guide. Adventure with safety and adrenaline! For security reasons, you must use shirt and sneakers for rafting, and we also recommend you to bring a change of clothes and slippers for not getting back to your hotel with wet clothes and shoes.
